The construction of the Matapalo School cafeteria is coming along very nicely. The cement columns were recently poured and the block work is nearly complete.

The windows ended up being a little too high off the ground, but the wonderful contractor didn't have any problem making the adjustments and now they are the right height for these amazing kids.

When we first set out on our discovery trip to Matapalo, Costa Rica, we didn’t quite know what to expect. What we did know was that we had an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, and that was more than enough to fuel our excitement.
